The films of the evening present powerful women’s* voices and highlight the importance of new feminist movements in contrast to the current societal backlash.

TIGER AND OX (Seunghee Kim, KR 2019, 8’18)
In a personal conversation, a daughter and her single mother reflect on social expectations, stigmatization, and life beyond traditional family norms in Korea.
GODZALINA (Lucile Paras, FR 2021, 4’52)
An amphibious monster appears in Paris to defend women* against mansplaining, manspreading, and harassment – with a noticeably feminist bite.
ROLLING EYES (Zeynep Sıla Demircioğlu, XX 2025, 3’43)
In a satirical video-game world, feminist fighters use wit and imagination to take on everyday sexism: from sexist colleagues to catcallers.
CATCALLS (Laura Stewart & Anna Berezowsky, CA 2020, 2’)
Using stop-motion animation, the film addresses street harassment by having cats and dogs reenact real-life experiences from New York City.
BITCH(ES) (Laure Ménard, NO/FR 2024, 4’41)
Two female dogs roam the streets at night to reclaim public space. A story about necessity, solidarity, and resistance.
CABLES FEMINA (Carlo Melo Gampert, CO 2020, 2’55)
An experimental animated film documenting the 8M demonstrations across Latin America, highlighting feminist visibility, resistance, and collective action.
WOMAN ژن (Gilnaz Arzpeyma, CA 2023, 3’14)
From a diaspora perspective, the film approaches the Iranian feminist revolution and shows fragments of protest, observation, and disobedience.
MEMORIA COLECTIVA (Cristina Colmenares & Manuel-Antonio Monteagudo, CO/FR 2025, 15’)
Set against the backdrop of the Peruvian civil war, the film tells the story of women* demanding truth and justice after the forced disappearance of their loved ones.

After the films, there will be a moderated discussion with experts from the organizing institutions in German, followed by a talk and presentation by filmmaker Cristina Colmenares of Memoria Colectiva.
