With deep sadness and shock, we mourn the passing of Inge Schubert, a wonderful ally in the fight for sex workers’ rights.
For many, many years, Inge was a dear friend of LEFÖ. She was always genuinely interested in listening to the stories, experiences, and reports from our work with migrant sex workers. Throughout all these years, she stood by LEFÖ with unwavering commitment. We could always count on her personal support at our annual public event marking the International Sex Workers’ Day in Vienna.
Representing Amnesty International’s Women’s Group, Inge supported us for many years, accompanying us at countless events, both internal and public. She was an exceptionally wise, kind, and compassionate woman.
Dear Inge, we will miss you.
