On September 14th, LEFÖ-IBF took part as speakers in the KOMPASS-II training for BBU GmbH, alongside IOM Austria, the Federal Criminal Police Office, and MEN VIA.
The focus was on recognizing human trafficking, the rights of trafficked persons, and the options for specialized support and cooperation. The trainings aim to build mutual understanding between people working in the public sector, staff at organizations working in the migration and asylum ecosystem, and their clients. The idea is to prevent barriers in communication based on cultural differences, which can seriously affect legal proceedings and other parts of life for migrants and asylum seekers.
